Over-60s and disabled people - don't miss out on free bus travel - Alcock3.02.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 1st Apr 2008
From 1 April everyone over 60 and people with a range of disabilities are entitled to free travel off-peak on local bus services throughout England. Existing Greater Manchester passes must be replaced by a new smartcard style national travel pass. (You will still get free local rail and Metrolink). If you have not received a form and already applied for one, ring 0161 244 1050 or call at a GMPTE Travel Shop.
